THE STORY OF US

December 7th, 2013 a day which will live…. in infinity! For that was the day that a boy and a girl met at a Snoop Dogg concert, and the rest is the history of love forevermore.

I can tell you need details! Well don’t panic, I’m the best in the world at telling THIS story!

Isaac and Amber, being both gainfully employed at GoDaddy, awaited in breathless anticipation that which all who work at GoDaddy anticipate: the GoDaddy Holiday Party. Both arrived dressed to the nines and in the mood for a good time, perhaps even make some lifelong memories… little did they know how true that would be.

Isaac was hanging out with some friends towards the front of the venue near the stage to the right. No one knew who was going to play that night, but the mood was buzzing and the mystery guest was fueling rampant speculation… who could it be? Would it be Tay Sway? Miley Cyrus? Britney Spears? Perhaps the Tupac Hologram! No matter what, a push toward the front was a must; afterall, this was epic free entertainment of the once-in-a-lifetime variety. Oh how true that would come to be!

Amber made her way toward the front of the room as well, and noticed some folks around a table to the right she knew and with that slight right turn, the catching of a friend out of the corner of her eye would change her life forever, because at that very table was Isaac and he was smitten with this amazing woman who had just arrived. Not knowing what to do or say, but knowing he had to do and say something, they began to talk. For some reason, she kept talking to him and before they knew it, time had flew by, and then, it happened…. “Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you our esteemed guest of honor, and tonight’s entertainment: the one, the only, Snoop Dogg!”

Isaac and Amber rushed to get to the front and center of the stage, and push as they might, they won a prized spot just so. In what was to go down as the most funky, thuggish, psychedelic night in GoDaddy history, it’s needless to say that both had a blast!

But what is a party without an after-party? Especially one as epic as that? And so, our heroes decided (in actuality, Amber and her date, Emily) to go to a local watering hole, Reds, just down the road from the venerable Five Season’s Center. In a stroke of genius, they invited Isaac to tag along, and much fun and shenanigans were had.

As the night was drawing to a close, Isaac–having a taxi on the way–knew he had something to do, his very soul forcing him to do something extremely out of the ordinary for him. He knew what he had before him was the most intriguing and engaging woman he had ever met, this can’t be the last of it! Seizing up all his gumption and fortitude, he took the plunge and went for it… “So the new Hobbit movie’s coming out, wanna check it out next Saturday?”
